POLICY

The underlying policy is based on the following principles:

  • Concern for quality, safety, health and the environment is of primary importance to us.
  • Ensuring the well-being of our employees and preventing occupational diseases.
  • The constant attention to identification of requirements and expectations of our customers and environment and the translation of these into requirements that our organization must meet.
  • The aim is to prevent damage to the health of personnel and third parties, to means of production and/or buildings and to the environment during the performance of the activities.
  • Attention is not only paid to preventing damage that is a direct result of these activities, but also to the content of the designs produced.
  • The continuous assessment of our management system for effectiveness and efficiency to identify improvements where possible, increase customer satisfaction, reduce environmental impact and prevent any risks to the health of staff and third parties.

COMPLIANCE

Compliance is aimed at preventing illegal acts. This also applies to measures and controls that are carried out to avoid violations of laws or regulations in a working environment.

Veltkamp BV attaches great importance to high ethical standards. Our compliance policy focuses on preventing corruption, fraud, breach of trust and unauthorized agreements with employees, business partners and other external parties. Veltkamp BV strictly monitors compliance with the compliance regulations and takes immediate action in the event of a violation or suspected violation.


MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Principles for our current policy and management system include:

  • AEO (customs license as Authorized Economic Operator)


The AEO permit is issued by customs and contributes to the security of the entire logistics chain.

When issuing this permit, customs examines safeguards in the business processes, such as security and safety systems and internal management structures. This requires current and specialist knowledge and your processes must be in order.

An "Authorized Economic Operator" (AEO) is an official status granted by European Customs through a certification to companies that trade internationally. This status confirms the reliability and safety of a company.

The AEO certification has the following advantages:

  • priority for checks and inspections
  • easier access to international markets
  • increased and optimized safety
